      They should let him go in a trade for other positions.

      Jacoby Brisset is a solid backup for Tom, and Jimmy deserves
      to be a starter in this league ASAP.

                    Patriots would trade Jiimmy G this off-season if they can get a first round pick for him. If no team wants to offer that, they will hold him for another year.

                                Think LT nailed this. It was nice of Goodell to make it necessary for the Pats to showcase him to the league and give the 39 Y.O. a nice rest to start the year.

                                    I like Jimmy G but I don't think he's the answer.

                                    SF, when Montana left, had the unbelievable luck of getting ANOTHER great QB to carry them another 10 years.

                                    I don't think that miracle can happen again. But here in Beantown, with the legacy off Orr, Bird, Eruzioni, Flutie and Brady, ya never freekin know. Woooooo!
