The problem with live betting is that the limits are low and the vig is high.

I reserve special rolls for that type of trading.

For those not worried about the limit or the vig (and for those that are), I think it's best to have an idea of exactly what you are looking for before game time to get live, then get it if it comes.

If said it before for pre-game bets on a big day of action and it applies to the live betting as well.

If you know what you are looking for, if you've made some type of roadmap of expectations, it will be a lot easier to contain your live bets once the bullets start flying. This counts for money management as well.

Otherwise, we end up confused and making bad bets for bad amounts and the market beats us up.

If you want a favorite, sure. But if you like a dog then probably not. I mean you can get the Falcons and 3 points. When they're up 21-3 then you'll have to settle for something like -10

I think this is how I'm going to go about cfb next year. Only bet dogs during the week. If I like a favorite, wait until live betting and hope the other team scores first. If they don't, then I'll move on.

Yeah, just have to be on it. For those of us who bet then don't watch the games then, obviously, live betting doesn't work. Or if you have multiple games going at once, can be a hassle since you're going to have to constantly be reloading the pages

However, live betting requires a LOT of discipline. If you're going to live bet often then you need to have a certain amount of max money you'll put on a team. Can get into trouble if you constantly keep betting on a team as they get more and more points. Have to be disciplined and admit when you're wrong and be willing to take a loss instead of chasing until you go broke.
