Russia won’t expel any Americans in retaliation to US moves, in a brutal demonstration of just how irrelevant Obama's 11th hour decision is for US-Russian relations.

#9no doubt Putin got the best of Obama. Most Americans will look at it as he's not retaliating because he knows he's guilty of the hacking. Russians will see it as he's just a bigger man. I see it as he's just trying to tell Obama "whatever you fool!" And that Putin is already trying to get into Trumps head which he will no doubt doComment -

Putin is quite simply the greatest statesman of our time. This is a remarkable response in its level judgment and display of good temperament. After all, the man who created this unpleasantness is only one man and a man who has proved many times over that he lacks judgment and capacity. Obama is simply a failure, from beginning to end, a failure who has chosen this sour note with which to leave office.
Just accept this as a fact Joe.Comment -

#15Putin knows Obama is out, he's like what ever with Obama right now.. Putin's probably laughing and then yawning as what ever Obama says or does is completely irrelevant right now...
Obama and Hillary are idiots though for trying to stir the pot with Russia and Putin.. Better to work with them and work on building relations rather then tearing them down. Russia is a nuclear power after all..Comment -

#18If the US does indeed have credible and factual data that Russia hacked our elections, then it is imperative Obama acts in some way. Whether this information exists, none of us know. We're simply not privy to CIA and FBI intel. On the flip side, if the US tampers with Russias elections, I would fully expect Putin to act in some way to retaliate. Each country must protect it's process of democracy, or at least the illusion of it.
Sammy you once again show that you cannot be partial and that no matter what happens, it's Obamas fault. And that is fine, plenty of liberals blamed everything on Bush even when it was irrational, you're just continuing the cycle.
Bottom line is this, these sanctions or actions Obama took against Russia were weak but they were necessary. When the intelligence community came out and said there was tampering, it all but guaranteed Obama had to do something so he did.
With that said, better relations between Russia and the US is a good thing. So going forward if this ultimately improves our relations with them, then that is a great thing.Comment -

#19The US has been meddling in other countries and their elections forever. If you don't believe so, then you are only kidding yourself. Suddenly its a big issue with Obama 3 weeks before he has to move his useless ass out of the White House? It doesn't pass the laugh test.Comment -

If Obama did nothing, Alt-Right Americans would call him a giant oyster because he did nothing. When he puts in place even the weakest sanctions or actions, the same Alt-Right bitches about those as well. It's clear who can be partial and who can't. I know with certainty that you and Sammy will complain about what Obama does 100% of the time, that's just a fact.Comment -

#21It is a shame we don't run elections like Philippines. Separate v.p and pres. run offs. Repubs always penetrate up the economy and dems. are such bitches foreign policy. Except for Johnson because he wanted to kill everyone. Just ask Kennedy.Comment -

#22We should make mandatory that the Pres and VP must be from different parties, so every WH will have a Dem and a Rep in it. Then it would be less them vs us, and maybe we'd see progress.Comment -

#30Every Country wants intel and tries to Hack.. Even if Russia Hacked so be it.. They didn't do anything to harm the country with the hacks other then expose Hillary's dirt. The hackers didn't leak top secret military classified stuff...
It's a joke that Hillary and Obama got so defensive and butt hurt that they are going after Putin like this... It's a shame...
If anything the hacks will make changes made at the highest levels so it doesn't happen again.. It's better that we know we can be hacked then being hacked and not knowing...
ALL GOOD I say... Can't wait for Trump and Putin to become friendly's..Comment -

Putin and Trump can hopefully work together like they have in the past and I think that's great... What can go wrong or become worse then it already is by doing that?
Obama and Hillary were chummy with Arab Nations and dictators far worse then Putin by the way.. Democratic leaders and this party is a complete joke.. Thank God they all have no power anymore to lead this Country..Comment -

#35Everyone is worried about the act of hacking, which occurs going all directions between Russia, China, and the US, at all levels of government and business hundreds and sometimes thousands of times per day...that's right, hacking occurs daily at huge numbers between these countries...it's called cyber warfare.
It's a brilliant plan to keep everyone from even contemplating the never denied results of those hacks.
The Russian government did not "influence" any election, the illegal activities of the Democrats, including and most obviously, Hillary Clinton, that were exposed is what "influenced" the election. We can already credit WikiLeaks with that...perhaps the true American heroes.
I suppose the US citizens are fine with the constant government corruption, I don't even see Kraken complaining.
On another note, it's also interesting that these announcements are made regarding Russian diplomats right after the US, for the third time, has been caught trying to materially help ISIS and fight the Syrian government...even if just in policy change regarding weapons.
The fact that both Russia and Turkey have exposed and called out the US doesn't seem to make the US news.
But the act of hacking, which is not any kind of new or unusual issue, is on everyone's plate.
