What's the deal with the Timberwolves this year? I was expecting better from them.

This.
Mitchell was quintessential players coach, Flip was everyone's friend. THIBBS.....big change, plus no veteran leadership.
Look for a fresh start post break....team will mold into shape.

Giant, I concur. I liked Thibs from the old days with the Celtics as an assistant.
Felt his "system" of defense has run its course.
The coaching fraternity, rinse and recycle is ridiculous.
Think they could have used some young blood coaching to match the roster.

The Spurs line looks on to me, I was about to post the exact thing about the Twolves that Giant said yesterday. I saw Betonline open this one at +6 and figured it being a B2B for the Spurs might be a nice time to back them but at +4.5 I'm passing.
Good posts here explaining whats going wrong. I like Tom and I like the talent in Minnesota but they are about 3-4 games under expectations thus far. Defense is not where it needs to be and perhaps that hard line coaching style is not appropriate as you guys have said for this roster. I would like to see them get better as the season unfolds.
Good call yesterday Boston LB, I wish I'd taken Memphis. I feel similar to the Detroit game today but this one feels like trouble for the Bulls.

LB got a question. What u think about the red hot knicks today playing against a heat team with not much offensive support? Or should I stay away from that game

The problem is he is trying to implement a defensive philosophy (which is all he knows) with players that don't fit the mold.
