All Kansas City needed to do was NOT give up a long TD on that last drive and it was an easy no doubt cover...

I'm pretty sure that this is one of those rare occasions in which Kubiak would prefer he not score and just kneel at the 5 yard line

Yes he should have kneeled at the 5 yard line - Denver would have won the game 15 minutes ago

Good game. Cant believe that this game went over after no points in the first quarter.

These games are like slamming beers... you can go several until you break the seal, then you gotta piss every 10 minutes

There was 3 minutes left, so with clock running and no TOs, Denver would have run a play, then the 2-minute warning. Two more runs takes clock under 30 seconds, kick a FG for 4-point lead. Not a slam dunk, but better than leaving them with the ball down 8.

Very good point.
To think you can lose a game for scoring a TD.

This is why you pass for the 1st down up by 1 point, not the long ball. High school coaches know this. Apparently Kubiak doesn't.
They would have been able to run much more off the clock with no timeouts for KC.
SMH.

I'll never forget the time I had the 2nd half under when ASU was up by 1 with less than a minute left. The ASU runner got in the open and had an easy TD but held up and went to the ground after getting the first down instead of scoring the TD. The next play ASU went into victory formation and was able to run the clock out.
I would have lost the 2nd half under had the guy ran into the end zone. Because he didn't score, I won the bet.

Ok, well I was rooting for a push, I'll go back to rooting for a win if Denver can score a TD here.
