Joe Maddon made a mistake using Lester in game 1. He was most likely going to lose game 1 with either jake or lester. Why not save the veteran Lester in a game the cubs would like to win( I won't say must win cause 2-3-2). Now he has arrieta who is trash versus Bauer. Bauer is a good pitcher. He will hold the cubs while the tribe nickle and dime arrieta. I know Maddon is saving lester for game 7 by using him in game 1 but he made another mistake. He is using Hendricks in game 3. He should use him in game 4. The fourth game is pivotal. Maddon is leaving the option of having Hendricks available for game 7 on 4 days rest as well but he is thinking too much instead of just doing the right thing. Tonight you needed the veteran savvy of lester not this dud arrieta.
