Whenever player x gets too hyped in the media I like to fade them. Portland's back court is nice but nothing else about them impresses me. Love Jazz to slow the pace down and keep it close (unless the jazz line is pounded)

How are the Jazz going to slow the pace? They have no guard play or perimeter defense? Portland will have quick shots all night long.

agree, and mccollum is nothing special imo. i think jazz are darkhorse conf finals threat, possibly bet them blind for a minute to start the season.

Well let's face it. The Portland team overall is not that great. They can go off some nights but they're extremely dependent on shot making by Lillard and McCollum.

The offcourt stuff is pretty irrelevant.

Pace seems to be up this yr with coaches. I expect totals and overs with teams like brooklyn, miami, phoenix and of course dub nation to be the easier plays in the long run

Nba is far and away the easiest game for refs to manufacture. Been part of the game since way before my time and will keep on after. Sucks to be on the wrong side of it just gotta hope ur on the right side of the fix

Teams can't be trusted this early in the season. Players out of shape, starting players not fully tested you for 48 minutes, teams not gelling yet, etc..

Tough to play opening day or even the first week of NBA IMO.... I wait a few weeks to get a true feel for the teams before I start laying down the green.. Will keep the feelers out though (watch NBA tv and highlights) if a certain team is complete garbage and the line is obviously off I will play that early on but that's it..
