Are the Presidential Polls by mainstream media fake, real or skewd

I haven't really pay attention to the Presidential final polls in the last few election but I clearly remember the 2000 Bush/Gore election.

MSNBC had Gore/Bush 50/50

CBS Bush/Gore 51/49

ABC Bush/Gore 51/49


This was when we didn't have all these insane polls we have now and we could say in 2000 it was pretty accurate in what the American people were thinking. I mean the Presidency was separated by a mere 1734 votes in Florida.

If Hillary has a 4-5 point poll lead on election day, there is no way Trump is going to win.

Sean Hannity is the only person not predicting a victory even though he is his biggest supporter. All his other guess like Newt Gingrich are saying the polls are not reflective of the big rallies Trump is getting, and they are all saying Trump wins. Good question.

My take is this:

I think they are more reliable in a typical election than this one.

Reasons:

1. A LOT of unaccounted voters. (Favors Trump)

2. Apathy from Clinton side especially if they think it's going to be a walk.

(Favors Trump with a stronger base).

3. Crazy things coming out almost daily. (Favoring Clinton so far).

4. The eye test. My area 4 years ago (I'd describe it slightly right) many people had signs, probably was about 50/50. This time, I've seen almost all Trump signs, 2 Hillary signs, 3 Gary Johnson signs. This only takes into account the Pittsburgh area, but it's been a noticeable movement.

A lot of things are going to be coming out over the next 26 days, so this could change rapidly.

given what's been uncovered through all of the email leaks, which shows a strong collaborative effort between Hillary and a number of the mainstream news corporations, I am not sure that they are willing conduct a truly objective/scientific poll.

Yeah, and they are probably all 95% Republicans. Having big rallies don't mean squat. Why, because Donald Trump is a polarizing figure, he's entertaining to see talk. So of course he's going to have big rallies when compared to Hillary. Bernie Sander rallies were every bit just as big as all of Trump's rallies.
