If you take it then shame on you. I once had a dispute with a guy at the hold em table they broke the table and he had been gone for 40 minutes when it broke I accidentally grabbed his baby stack it was a honest mistake but then this clown tried to play me and say he had way more then he did...the casino cameras couldn't make out how much was there I ended up to agree on a number I knew was wrong but then he hit me with 5 more this is when shit got ugly we both got kicked out

I assume if you got caught they would call the police.

But if you dropped it into the window and said you found it, they might have a policy of it being yours if not claimed within a certain period.

i once walked off and left 200 bucks sticking out on a ticket, as my wife wanted me to play a different machine.... I was a bit smashed, so i got up and left it in the machine.

when I realized it (at coushatta in kinder), the floor mgr told me all tickets left are considered "abandoned" and it's pretty much finders keepers. however, they pulled the eye in the sky, saw the guy who took it, and the floor mgr had the guy in the sky locate the guy, and the guy talked the floor mgr over to the guy who took the ticket, and he asked him about it, and if he wouldn't mind giving it to its rightful owner.... the guy handed over the ticket.

if he'd said he didn't want to, I was shit out of luck

on that premise, it's yours and you should cash it..... hand pays usually start at 1,500, so there shouldn't be any irs bullshit..... but the ticket is yours from what I know of casino rules
