What Year Did You Graduate and What Diploma/Degree/s Do You Have?

Let me start off by saying it wasn't all that easy. 2003 was a tough year for me. I was living in my mom's basement with only $200 to my name. I remember using $5.70 of that for a bag of Cheetos and a Dr. Pepper while I put the rest on a 5 teamer. Long story short I ended up with nothing. After asking my mom for a small loan of $50 and having to explain to her what happened I was almost dropped from my family name. Luckily my mother was nice enough to give me a cozy refrigerator box and some duct tape so that I could have a home to live in down the street. Down in the dumps I decide to take a long stroll at night thru a bad neighborhood and let fate take it's course. Walking down this street I have never seen so much crime in my life. I was hit with an epiphany and I decided my true calling was law enforcement. Unfortunately the police academy would not take my application seriously and instead referred me to the parking enforcement agency. Well boys, after 7 long tough years grinding it out in the parking lots and absorbing as much information as I could, I can proudly say I graduated a fully licensed Meter Maiden class of 2010.

no diploma. Seagrass. just a GED. I am much smarter that GED shows but some issues have prevented me from reaching my full potential. Now I just work part time and of course you know I live with my mom and uncle now

HS diploma. I work with a bunch of college grads that complain about student loans and I just sit back and smile. Work hard and you can get where you want to be.

I'm living seaweed... I don't owe anyone and I'm in no jackpots... I did own my own biz before Katrina, I do well regardless but all is good, account isn't flat, and just got a new job offer but I took care of my grandmother until she passed at the healthy age of 91...but yes a g.e.d & some college is what I got

dropped out of college after changing major and minor multiple times.....

started selling cars in June of 2012, got promoted to Finance/Business Manager in May of 2015.

Youngest Manager in the company...making more money than most people my age with college/grad school degrees. own a home where most still live at home.

School is only for people who have a direction and specific need for it such as teachers, doctors, ect. For most ppl school is b/c the stereotype in life is that you need school to be successful. Success is driven by your work ethic and personality in my opinion.

Bachelors in journalism

Wanted to become a sports journalist but the pay is shit and it's a tough gig to get big at so I quit that path. Was able to get hooked up working for the bc govt - low stress, undefined hrs and great benefits.
