Announcers and Petco Park Scoreboard Ruined the HR Derby
Announcers can make or break certain events and it needs to be ALL CHRIS BERMAN. It really wasn't fun seeing Stanton not take his time (due to rules) and the Petco scoreboard was annoying. The 4 minute limit (without distance) drove me nuts. I like to see a Griffey Jr. with the hat on backwards, taking his time and admiring his work his moonshots.

    Disappointed--new rules SUCKED

I actually enjoyed it. All smiles when you predict the winner.

Also, I knew Cano had 0 chance the way that his dad pitched. He won once but that's with no damn clock

Why don't they use a pitching machine for this event?

I cannot stand Chris Berman. He lays it on so thick that shit got annoying 10 years ago.

Not fun watching Stanton bash 61 Homeruns? Come on man... The old way was fun but I got shit to do. I can't sit there and watch a guy take 5 pitches he doesn't like to hit a ground ball when he finally swings. This keeps it moving and Stanton showed tonight you can still pull a Josh Hamilton without taking a half an hour for one turn.

And what did the scoreboard do to you? It was a measurement guage. No difference between that and the target Signs for charity in years past.

              OP likes to complain..

Note his positive to negative ratio is around 8% positive to 92% negative

This is largely why I don't like older people. Most of them need a attitude readjustment...
