Come on. The reason why I know he will do time is because even without the video of the actual shooting happening, it is clear that the guy was not trying to be defensive or acting erratic. This officer got scared for whatever reason and gunned him down while he was wearing his seat belt. How many people do you know are going to shoot someone while wearing their seat belt? Most of the time these shootings go to court and the cops get let off by mostly a black jury..

There is nothing more that needs to be added to the murder committed by a police officer. Victim was an everyday working man who was out with his family and lost his life due to incompetence by a police officer.

This guy has a pretty good theory. Looks like the guy who was shot happened to look exactly like a guy the police were searching for who had committed an armed robbery blocks away a few days before. Look at the pictures. Pretty certain it is NOT him (no reason to believe it is, plus the facial hair is a little different) but the cop must have been nervous, and then the motorist told him he had a gun. The cop must have essentially panicked.

Also would explain why the claim was that he was pulled over for a broken tail light. I don't think the cop would say "I pulled you over because you look exactly like this guy we are looking for who robbed a store at gunpoint".

No confusion on my part. The cop is a coward who murdered a man because he was not competent at his job.

If the new narrative is he pulled them over because he looked like an armed robbery suspect, why didn't he just follow the vehicle until backup units could arrive?

It it much easier to make the deceased into something bad than accepting the truth that the cop murdered a man in cold blood. Murder 1 is not on the table. Murder 2 or voluntary manslaughter, yes. There are plenty of racist cops in every city. Not all are white. This incident appears to be a tragedy that could have been prevented if officer didn't make the wrong decision in every aspect of traffic stop.

Scanner audio has been submitted to the news from that night. They didn't get pulled over for a broken taillight as the woman claimed. At least that is not what the cops told dispatch prior to pulling them over.

Yet, the reputation is that officers are agressive and racist. 2 out of 6 million is almost statistically insignificant. I would, given that info, still be pretty upset if my brother were shot to death, by anyone.

Actually they will. My dad was asked to get out of the vehicle and they searched him because they thought he looked liked a criminal. And since this thread is about race, I will throw in that he is white as snow.

Yep, I was talking with a friend in the ghetto maybe 5 years ago, he was a black tenant of mine for years.. I drive away in my Lexus and get pulled over a block later for no reason other then I was missing the front license plate....

I ask the cop what am I getting pulled over for nicely...Cop asks do I have any drugs on me or in the car, I said no I'm not a drug attic or dealer.. Next the white cop asks me to step out of the car, next thing I know I'm being handcuffed and searched on the side walk.. They told me it was for their own safety while they search me and the car.... After they searched me and the car they un handcuffed and let me go without giving me a ticket for the front license plate missing..

The cops assumed I was buying drugs in the hood I guess. I called the police station and filed a report later that day on them.. Keep in mind I have no criminal record.. I'm a white guy but tall, fit and intimidating but come off very nice in person....

I just felt all that was unnecessary and excessive.. Don't know what happened to those 2 white cops after that..

There needs to be change in the black culture, and they need to be the ones realizing that instead of blaming everyone else for the hardships that they are creating.

None of black lives matter protesters were slaves. None of their parents were slaves. None of their grandparents were slaves. That horse is dead. You'll never hear a mention of how the majority of the soldiers fighting in the bloodiest war we've had here were white men fighting for their freedom.

2/3 of black kids don't have a father at home. Over 60% jail population is black.

Get an education, raise your kids, support your family legally, pay taxes, have aspirations besides being a rapper or pro athlete. This would go a long way in helping relations with the rest of the country.
