Where is the video when the cop walked up to the car and shot the guy. The things about these videos. They are biased as hell. It only shows you one side of the story...

routine traffic stop. if there is no dash cam video it means the police brass saw it and it will make the department look even worse. so it disappears due to camera malfunction.

Only way to correct this problem in society is to have many more black police officers on patrol in the United States.. Or have a black police officer ride and team up with every white one for city patrol..

Traffic stops the black officer should always approach the driver and not the white cop.. Physical arrests let the black cop take the lead always..

A good police officer is not defined by the color of their skin. Black or white, it makes no difference. If you can't read and react quickly to any situation in a way that will end the situation with as little damage as possible, the color of your skin is inconsequential. A police officer has a very stressful job but they know that going in. They should be held to a higher standard than a regular citizen. They have been given the training to do their job. When they fail to do so, too often they are given a slap on the wrist and put back on the street.

It will only get worse. When some blonde hair, blue eyed kid named Chad or Brent from the suburbs gets shot to death by a cop for having a dime bag in his dad's BMW, then the powers that be will demand change.

I'm not sure why any of us feel like we have to take sides in these cases. Admitting that the cop fukked up in this case is not an indictment on all cops. This cop fukked up and should be dealt with. We all should be able to agree on that. And none of us should be shouting racist cops, etc. We should all be outraged when someone is shot and killed no matter what color of their skin and it should not matter what color the idiot cop perpetrating said shooting as well. I believe the odds are you are correct.

But what if the cop says that guy was not cooperating, acting hostile and when the driver said he had a gun, the officer told him not to reach for it and keep his hands on the steering wheel and the guy reached anyway?

Because I can tell you that is what he will say and if there is no other evidence, he will not go to jail. That doesn't make it true, and it doesn't make it right, but that is the law and that is what will happen.
