Give me one good reason why a wall should be obstructed? Just one good reason.

Also, the president does not get to enact policies he/she wants. That is not how it works nor should it work that way as we have seen with Obama. No change is often better than forcing change so obstructionists for president's like obama is exactly what any rational citizen would want. Obama has literally been one of the worst presidents in history, the most obviously, so hillary getting her way would only further the damage.

Your logic that a president's policy should be supported simply because they are a president is extremely illogical. Now factor in Obama and it is obvious that thought process is dangerously wrong.
I think the best reason against a wall is how effective it would be per dollar spent.

Estimates run from 10 to 20 bill to build it and then 2 to 5 billion per year to maintain and police it.

So 30 to 70 billion over the next 10 years.

If there really is that sort of loot available to divert from other spending, I'd say it deserves a bit of a think tank on how to use that massive amount to solve the actual issue. If that happened to turn out to be a wall, so be it. But does anyone really believe that with their hand over the heart. I'm sure Trump doesn't but knew it was a touchstone issue people could rally behind.

awesome non-response to what I said. Again, they would have never given the loans because they knew it was going to bankrupt them. And just like any good financier they made sure the loss did not fall on them.

again, the only thing you are offering is a clown show.
Hot dog boy asking for evidence after making the tired old "black people crashed the economy" idiot talk.

considering it would save us a trillion that is ideal math in my world. You have to consider how much the illegals are costing the country, the wall is an obvious choice.

Here dummy, you won't believe it but maybe someone with a bit higher IQ will learn something.

However, the new evidence from Manuel Adelino of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Antoinette Schoar of the MIT Sloan School of Management and Felipe Severino of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth undermines this story. In their paper, "Changes in Buyer Composition and theExpansion of Credit During the Boom," the researchers found:
Founded in 1920, the NBER is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and to disseminating research findings among academics, public policy makers, and business professionals.

"While there was a rapid expansion in overall mortgage origination during this time period, the fraction of new mortgage dollars going to each income group was stable. In other words, the poor did not represent a higher fraction of the mortgage loans originated over the period. In addition, borrowers in the middle and top of the distribution are the ones that contributed most significantly to the increase in mortgages in default after 2007. Taken together, the evidence in the paper suggests that there was no decoupling of mortgage growth from income growth where unsustainable credit was flowing disproportionally to poor people."

Lots of previous evidence supports this conclusion. For example, the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission established by Congress concluded:
"...the CRA was not a significant factor in subprime lending or the crisis. Many subprime lenders were not subject to the CRA. Research indicates only 6% of high-cost loans -- a proxy for subprime loans -- had any connection to the law. Loans made by CRA-regulated lenders in the neighborhoods in which they were required to lend were half as likely to default as similar loans made in the same neighborhoods by independent mortgage originators not subject to the law."

That is not relevant. Again, your ignorance leads you to believe any headline you read. You obviously don't understand what happened. The problem was that POOR represented any noticeable amount of the triple AAA rating garbage(supposedly full of good loans) their mortgages were lumped into because banks were FORCED to loan to them. So no, you have not found someone more intelligent than me unless they clarified that. Go ahead and quote if they did... lol

Being poor and having income/assets so you can actually pay your house bill is not the same as being poor with nothing then getting a $200k+ house on a balloon mortage you dummy.

                IF HILLARY IS PRESIDENT -

If Hillary gets elected I learn to speak Spanish or move out of Calimexico....

I then buy a bullet proof vest and wear it when out in crowded public places to ward off the shrap metal when the next suicide bomber detonates himself..

Lastly, I'll say goodbye to any hope of Social Security benefits and National security in the future.. I'll also brace myself for a massive future tax increase to manage the ballooning National debt that will continue to grow under Hillary Clinton administration....

Brooks you have no idea what caused the crash. LOL

But I will agree that the problem was systemic & everyone played a part. Some just had a bigger role, namely the banks & corporate America's so called free trade deals.

Back on the original topic for a second.

It won't affect me much right now. If all my dreams come true, then who is in office will affect me more. Not until then though.

Thing is, the whole "well if it doesn't affect you don't worry about it" argument is retarded. Some people care about the good of their country too, not just themselves and families. Since whoever is in office won't affect my life much right now, I care more about what it will do for the USA. A rising tide lifts all ships.

Aaaannnnnnd I'm still not voting anyway. Just hoping dems don't overrun the entire government, as they have no idea what's best for the greater good anymore.

As for me, I don't rely on the government to take care of me or my family. My daughter will never want for anything in her lifetime because her father has put in the work to set things up for my entire family. Be accountable for yourself and quit blaming a government for your own failures in life brooks.

My daughter will never want for anything in her lifetime because her father has put in the work to set things up for my entire family. Be accountable for yourself and quit blaming a government for your own failures in life brooks.
