Ivy league will move to ban football altogether soon enough. I doubt it has 10 more years.

Tackling is a lost art. High School limits on contact during the season are a joke, majority of youth coaches are clueless. They just don't teach it anymore.

Next will be banning defense in games. We could see NBA basketball scores in college football.

How about a math problem after each score? Winner gets the ball. Best chance to get Asians involved in football as well! Talk about expanding your market!

I heard a comedian once say as a kid he was on a team that got beat 84-0. After the game, the coach says he hoped all the players learned something from that loss. The kid says, "Yeah, I learned that 12 times 7 is 84!".

I watched a segment on a coach at a lower level that had been a winning coach for 30 years or so with a huge winning percentage and his teams did not tackle in practice. This was like 15 years ago. Players don't tackle anymore anyway. Just hit high and try to bowling pin them.

In 30 years, teams will play a lot like the Lingerie League with almost no pads and score about 80 points per game passing every down.
