I think of myself as anti-racist but even with that and as a non-American, this ceremony is so cringe worthy. It's like an hours long telethon of the elite trotting out black people to show they really do love them and all the bits in between seem to be about race too.

It's not the back people whining btw, it's the establishment who has been embarrassed by all the negative publicity whom they are speaking for.
