Cell phones and battery life. What do you have? Are you a big timer?

I had an HTC One M7 and now I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Am I happy with it? So far, I am not. I had to call my cell phone provider because my HTC One had hardware issues. The Galaxy was the only replacement. I don't like the Galaxy because the battery life dies out halfway through my day. I want to get the HTC One M8, I don't know who has had better luck with a phone that the battery last for a good amount of time even while using the internet and apps. My Samsung starts to heat up too after 3 minutes of use. This sucks because if I'm low on battery and I need to make a last minute play on my phone, I need my battery to allow me to reach my degenerate goals.

I usually get a decent 10-12h on it...and I'm on it all the time (calls, msgs, emails, internet..etc). I don't use it though for streaming long vids or movies.
Talk time: Up to 24 hours on 3G

6s plus as well. On it quite a bit and use quite a few apps that drain the battery but still lasts the day and night.

Nexus 6P with a custom ROM...best battery life I have ever had..used to own Note, Galaxy S and iPhone..I work in the software industry, trust me boys, if it's battery life u want..go with Nexus.

Yeah it fits fine in my front pocket. Don't like keeping it in my back pocket though. I've adjusted to one hand texting but its tough. Once you get adjusted to the screen size using any other phone especially the iphone 5, your hand will feel massive.

I see street guys post a table, tools, umbrella, a water bottle and call it their office waiting for people to walk by with broken screen iPhones in order to repair. So, I'm trying to stay out of it.

I'm interested in Droid phones.

Galaxy S5, battery lasts about 36 hours.

EDIT: just looked and it's been 13 hours on battery and says I have 17 hours left (based on usage over past 7 days)
So I lied and it's 30, but I could probably stretch it to 36 if I turn on power saver.

I have a Blackberry Priv. Got it the day it came out. Awesome phone and very underrated. Has full android capabilities and apps and is perfect for work related items. Battery lasts all day without issue and I am a heavy phone user.
