These are the three games that stood out to me most for this college football Saturday.

We'll start with the early game. Last year Georgia demolished a reeling Auburn team in Athens. This time around I expect the Tigers to be on the winning side. After a shaky start, Auburn appears to have finally turned things in the right direction. Georgia is dealing with distractions and has not looked good against good competition.

Temple goes down to a conference opponent this week. USF has improved over the course of this season and plays teams tough

Finally the game of the week. Seems like a lot of people like the Sooners here. Baylor has had to fight criticism going back to last year. Tonight they prove they are worthy of a playoff bid.

This isn't a great OU team by OU standards.

They could still win but I would be surprised. Tulsa shredded their defense and Tulsa runs the same offense that Baylor does only Baylor has better players.

I'm not betting this game bc I see good reasons to pick either side.

Stidham is going to be a stud but it's hard to predict how he will play in this type of high pressure game.

Baylor hasn't been tested at all this year and OU has. OU went into Tennessee this year and pulled out a win in front of 105,000 people. While Tennesee isn't a top 10 team, they're probably better than their record and that was a huge early season game.

I still give a slight edge to Baylor because of how their offense matches up with OU's defense and I'll probably know how this game will go after 2-3 series. If OU brings pressure and takes chances they might be in decent shape. If they sit back and play soft coverage bc they're afraid to get beat deep, Baylor will carve up their defense.

OU usually does better as an underdog. When they blow it they are usually favored. Stoops is tight when he is expected to win and coaches with balls when he feels disrespected. It's odd.

I'm going to watch this as a fan.
