Definitely stronger and better drugs these days. In the 80'sand early 90's, HIV was basically a death sentence. From what I know, magic never had AIDS...just HIV positive. his immune system is just strong enough to keep him from going full blown. The facts are: HIV transmission from female to male is low percentage stuff; and even then, one has to engage in extremely risky behavior, i.e., open wounds and such similar things.
The facts are: a high percentage of transsexuals engage in gay sex, putting themselves and anyone that engages in sex with them at high risk (much higher HIV % pool they swim in).
Strong chance Charlie (and probably Magic) doesn't contract HIV if he only engaged in sex with biological females.
Of course, Sheen also had the drug/needle risk factor, more than likely......

The contention actually posited is unless you engage in extremely risky behavior with a biological female, your chances of contracting HIV female to male is extremely low.
In the porn industry, there is no documented case of female to male HIV transmission. A fair number of male to female documented cases exist. And forget the gay side... scores of documented cases
There is male talent that has worked for decades in the porn industry and have been with 10x the number of women Sheen has been with, yet, no documented case of solely female to male infection.Comment -
