I found a place by LAX for $63 for the week. An Uber from there is about $30 and I have a $15 off promo code so I think that is the best way to do it

Shouldn't the cruise line you up with long term parking options... Be careful long beach will ticket tow your car. If you're feeling lucky you could park it in one of the work zones down by pine or at one of the oil rigs where the works work for free...risky but free they won't figure out u don't work there trust me. Park your car at fishermans wharf in San Pedro might get broken into though.

Another option is to do a one-way car rental each way.

Might be your cheapest option depending on rates.

I know there is an Avis in downtown Long Beach not too far from the cruise terminal.

reason to stay on land

re-think the whole cruise idea as they don't throw the bad food overboard. they serve it because they only have so much in their cupboards and freezers when they set sail. people who go on cruises when the whole ship gets sick never go on one again. it's bad and there is no escape. engines fail and you have to get towed back at about 1 mile an hour. could get struck by a torpedo (unlikely). ships septic system has been know to fail. who knows what goes on in the galley with the food. foreign kitchen workers with no board of health inspections while they're out there. heating system for swimming pool can go kaput. casino on board probably rigged or payouts set at charity type casino rates. overpriced in the first place. nothing to see except blue sky and water for most of the cruise. 24 hours of hell every day.

Check the local hotels. Many have deals to park and have a shuttle to the pier.

We went on a cruise one year in early December. Even though schools were open, there were a bunch of little kids on board. Yelling, screaming, hogging the pool. Ruined the whole trip. Never again. I know kids are our future and should be cherished, but I hate the little fukkers.
