Is This Real Life? N.Y.G. Opens -2.5 At Tampa Bay? LOL
Remember last year when The Giants opened up at -2 against Jacksonville? Remember that one thread??
Same thing applies here.

Giants are banged up
Tampa the better all around team
Gotta get Amukamara Beason Pierre Paul victor cruz back. Donnell now went down so they have no TE.
Giants missing basically 4 of their best 10 players on entire team

Tampa getting overvalued after Atlanta layed down for them. Classic overreaction line.

FYI - its unusually hot as hell here in FL now...you think any opposing players are used to playing/practicing in 95 degree heat in November? There's only 3 that do it....JAX, TB and MIA.
The fat boys on Giants O/D line will cramp up and die in the 1st half.
Don't think TB is overvalued. Jameis looked good and the defense finally looked solid. They are a lot better of a team then people believe, I mean they blew probably 7-8 games in the 4th quarter last year alone otherwise they'd have been .500.
This line is meant to induce early action on NYG and it will correct by weeks end to -3.5 or more to spread out the $. I wouldn't shy away from TB +3.5

Atl would have beaten them by at least 3 touchdowns if they didn't keep turning the ball over in the red zone. Tampa's defence was getting torched.

Nah I dont see it happening. 2.5 to 3.5 is probably the biggest line move in the nfl and I cant see it with TB at home

Manning and Beckham is probably enough offense, remember this Buc defense gives up 28 points a game, Giants defense blows but they don't even give uo 28 (unless it's the Saints)
Winston is coming on starting to look like a good NFL QB, but he ain't Brees.
Doug Martin is a nice back, but he ain't elite, Mike Evans has some game, but they aren't the Saints offene.
Regading Donnell, he drops way to many passes, he's maybe, at best, the 16th best TE in the league.
I expect Vereen out of the backfield to make up for those 5 or so targets to the TE position.
Coughlin is getting hammered by the media here, expect a full week of drill sergeant Tom when he's pissed, you bet he's bet.
Giants lack of defense will be at least prepared this week.
Both defenses are not good, Giants have better offense and better special teams.

The Giants' secondary is absolute garbage, especially with their injuries, and Winston should carve them up. Basically, any half-decent QB is gonna carve up the Giants. They've had the luxury of playing mostly bad QBs this year, but when they've played Romo, Brees and Matt Ryan...all losses. It's a fair line.

It's a very fair line, I just think Giants win by 7 to 10 pts.

The Giants needed a miracle pass to beat the Niners. The Niners!! The Niners might not win another game until 2020.

Ummm the Giants defense just let up 52 points to a team that scored less than 20pts three times so far this season.

One has nothing to do with the other.
Giants were not prepared, trust me, G-Men show up for real Sunday.

solid analysis
i do think doug martin is one of the better rbs in the nfl though. probably top 10.
it's likely he shreds the giants front 7.
i don't trust the giants team without a healthy roster
would much rather not touch this game or take a doug martin prop. guaranteed 90 yards rushing for martin in this game

Lmfao giants just gave up 7 tds to a 50 year old drew brees. What do you expect the line to be Giants -14. Giants lost to both falcons and saints. Tampa by the way beat both those teams.

Games from week to week don't matter...remember all the Dolphin homers that thought Dolphins were super bowl material when they beat the Texans??
Then they were who we thought they were against NE. Maybe that was just flipper the dumbfukk...not to call out any legit dolphin fans

That poster was "thewhiteguy" and was one of the sharpest posters to ever grace this forum.
I like the Giants in this spot...They more than just about any other team in the league tend to bounce back strongly after enduring a tough loss.
Also, even though I prefer to look at matchups over trends...the trends in this game greatly favor the Giants. From a betting perspective, Tampa has no home advantage... Hell they are like 1-11 ATS in their last 12 home games.
Tampa seems to be improving, and Winston is competent enough to scare me away from making a big play, but I think the Giants win here by 7 in a competitive game.

It's not a matter of the Giants getting torched last week alone - it's a belief that their secondary really sucks (with a lackluster pass rush to boot) and we just haven't seen them play many QBs who can take advantage. Winston's not Brees but he should be able to. As I've said though, I'm not backing Tampa because their defense is also bad.

Gotta say , I think Winston is gonna be a great one < I dont know if you guys noticed but he takes control like a 10 year veteran already in his first year , I can see his football intelligence when he reads the D and audibles out in his first year < The coaching staff trusts him to make the calls on the field < crazy but thats whats happening .... I got the Bucks at home in Winston's biggest game in the NFL going up vs Manning ..... I think the Bucks D is for real also < should cause problems

Hard to say it's for real when they blew a 24-0 lead to Cousins.
