What's everyone saving their points for?

I notice there are a fair amount of posters with tons of points in their wallets. Just wondering what people's thought process is and what items posters have in their minds that they're shooting for. Or is it even just a case sometimes of building them up or the sake of it without a clear goal in mind?

Very curious what people are thinking with their points. Now that I myself have enough of a chunk to get some stuff, I'm not sure what I want to do either.

If you dont need anything, hold on to them and join the bowl contest. 3k points and winner gets $5000 or somewhere around that (with points payouts for other places), only 50-60 entries, so the odds are a lot better than BTP.

Yes, based off last year's and prior year's. There won't be a post about it until right around the end of the regular season, but I'm sure it will be 3000 points to enter (can enter multiple times by yourself, or they allow teams where everyone posts a certain percentage of the entry and then you win that percentage of money or points, plenty of people with a bunch of points will just try to get in on half the teams so they have a 50% chance of getting some money)

I'll be saving up for that, also use them on gift cards for Burger King (if I'm traveling and will be eating a lot of food on the go), pizza (for obvious reason) or Red Robin (to convert to cash at a much better rate than the $100 gift cards)
