DraftKings Clears Employee, is the Decision on the Up & Up?
What are your thoughts about DraftKings clearing the employee accused of insider trading? Can we trust that this decision is genuine?

They did say almost immediately that this guy didnt get the data until 40 mins after rosters locked.
I kind of believe that.
But I'm not convinced that a bunch of employees of both sites have not been screwing the players on the other one... and it sounds like with full knowledge of both companies from the way they could so quickly say how may employees played and how much was won.
If it was my business I would be making sure no one outside 1 or 2 key people can ever access data early in future though. So think they would have done that now.

Read the article about this guy on 538.com; they listed his results for an entire month and there's no way he's that good without some kind of inside info.

Very true, the thievery that's going on at DFS is peanuts to what goes on at Wallstreet. That's where the real crooks are.

The troubles that DraftKings and FanDuel are having are directly their own fault. When you advertise every 15 minutes on TV and radio about how much money you are reaping in and giving away, then show that are spending millions more a day with marketing, it is basically saying to the government....... please come take some of our money -- we just have too much. Plus the government will want to know just who is getting rich, and who is paying all of their taxes on the cash. Then you get the states who see money going out of the residents hands into companies who are paying no taxes whatsoever to them, and well...... goodnight Irene.
The fantasy contests are legal. No doubt in my mind that the UIEGA law allows it. But the companies showed their hand, and this fiasco gave everyone the excuse to see just how much money is out there.
I expect most of the states to shut them down, regardless of legality, until they pay up to the states.

I like to play head to head against other players or against maybe 10 to 20 players in double ups where the top half double up.
This way you see what they have and they see what you have. There is money to be made on those sites. Yeah, not everyone is going to win $726,084, but you can still win money if you have some knowledge. Last week on DraftKings, Chris Ivory was cheap(like $4,500) why everyone didn't have him in their lineup at that price boggles my mind.

If you’ve been in the game 30 minutes and you don’t know who the patsy is, you’re the patsy.

I was shocked at how many people(5 out of 20) had Colin Kaepernick as their QB in their lineup in the double up contest I played in this week.

Unrealllllll
I can't understand the love for that guy, he's terrible. He's been terrible. He's going to continue to be even more terrible now that he doesn't have Harbaugh, Gore or a solid line.

That is the thing about Draftkings, anyone with football knowledge should win something every week if not break even.
I only play one of those $3 or $20 contests every week to win a million+, but some people have dozens of entries(this is where they get you). Even if you finish in the top 75,000(or something like that in the big contests) you at least win your money back. I much prefer to play heads up or double ups, and some times multipliers. When you are only playing against a small amount of players and you know who people have, you can't get fukked over. It is impossible to try and keep track of 400,000 other line-ups.

So you never play in the pools with multi entries?

Maybe 2 at the most. I usually do a $3 and $20 every week for the big payout.
I much prefer to do head to head or the double up contests for $100.
