Royals will win Game 1 Tonight

I think the Royals will get off to a fast tonight and win this one by a few runs. David Price is up next and the Royals cannot afford to drop this game at home and face price in game 2 down 0-1 and heading back to Toronto for 3 games. That would not be a good sign at all. I can't see the Royals losing b2b at home and don't think they will beat price. The lineup will be patient tonight and take what Estrada gives. Not too comfortable with Volquez but it is what it is. Royals are the best offensive team in baseball and they will find a way to generate enough runs tonight to win. Just score a few and play great defense. There is no weakness in their lineup 1-9.

I don't disagree that Estrada is better, but the Royals can definitely hit estrada and they will be patient and take a good amount of walks. Like I said this is a must win for the royals or I think they could be in a bit of trouble. I don't really put any stock into what's happened in last games or adrenaline or anything like that. Royals defense is good enough to pick up Volquez if he falters. I can't say the same about Toronto's d.
