Brocky that was a good one, however in Canada TV stations don't usually "edit" or "bleep" interviews that include profanity.
I remember years ago the cameras were following Harold Ballard (then owner of the Leafs) as he got out of his limo and he shook his cane and yelled "get that fvcking camera away from me", it was played on the CBC 6 o'clock news and it was not "bleeped out" it was played as it happened.
I find it ironic that a country like the USA that proclaims it is all for free speech has to bleep out everyday words in newscasts.Comment -

plomer, i thought the SAME thing, i was in canada for 3 weeks of training, Missasauga actually, and after 10 PM they have unedited Osbornes on TV, basically softcore porn too. I was pleasantly pleased!Comment -

Well in the US they bleep out shit but it's ok to call someone son of a bitch or bastard meaning his mother is a whore. Try to explain your kids what a SOB or a bastard is when they hear it on TV because it is so diffficult to explain shit.

I've also noticed that US stations will blur a womans breasts when they are covering a story on breast cancer and they are showing a mammogram being performed, here they just show the procedure unedited, nothing exciting about seeing a womans breasts getting pancaked in that machine.
Same thing when showing a woman giving birth, its a natural event and a medical story but they blur the image on US stations and show it all on Canadian ones.
I get all the US network channels and PBS from Buffalo here in Toronto plus all the Canadian stations, the differences between TV coverage in the US & Canada is striking.Comment -
I dont feel they should ever edit anything. When they bleep out a word,
or blur our a boob or vagina, you mind automatically starts thinking
about the word or image being edited out.
