What do you have against Salazar? I actually think he is one of the more underrated pitchers in baseball, he leads the Major Leagues in strikeout rate and has done that while allowing only 16 walks. I wouldn't worry about the 3.79 ERA considering he has a 2.80 xFIP. I think -145 could be a tad light, model has Salazar 61% over Ubaldo this game (around -156).

i was actually little higher but i doubt your model factors ubaldo being a headcase.

Yes I totally forgot you were a Baltimore guy.

But yeah , Orioles overachieved greatly the last two years based on their peripherals, they just never regressed like you would expect most teams to do. Now karma is catching up to them this year, as of this second fangraphs has them finishing 78-84. There was a good reason their posted win total before the year was only 80.5 at most spots.
