Networks were praying for Rangers-Blackhawks, and will probably get Lightning-Ducks. NHL needs to call NBA execs, and find out how to put the fix into the playoffs.

Tampa had 9th best attendance in nhl this season, but toronto had better attendance then they did. As far as.i can see though national interest in bolts is minimal. Rangers hadlike 18 th best attendance, as far as bear being a idiot. No. He just voiced a national opinion,

You just made my point. Attendance is relative to size of market anyway (and size of arena). Every year Toronto fills the stands with thoughts of "this is our year", and every year Leafs ownership happily takes their money and watches the team miss the playoffs. Fine line between fan/fool.

Cant say much about the teams, but Canada sure as shit has hockey fans.

Tonroto has a huge advantage in operating revenue but nothing to show for it, it astonishes me that toronto hasn't won since 1967. The organization has grown fat and complacent. The fans keep buying tickets and getting nothing in return.

The younger organizations are smarter and more adaptable because they need to keep their fanbase happy or their revenue disappears. The revenue will never disappear in toronto unless the city gets a second team (which will never happen).

WTF, they finished last 3 in attendance the last 3 years they were there and EVERY year outside of their first year they finished in the bottom 10. They is why they left because ATL is a NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A HOCKEY TOWN. I don't blame the owners for wanting out.
