#5I see the argument. A LeBron team facing a young team in the finals. Miami was an easy pick that year.
But beyond that those series have nothing to do with each other. That Miami team was miles better than this Cavs team, and the Warriors this year are much better than that Thunder team...Comment -

now the cavs have a deep team: jr smith, mozgov, shumpert, tristan thompson
these guys are younger and more athletic than that heat team.Comment -

also iirc battier and miller made a number of huge 3's in that series, chalmers had a monster 25 point performance in a key win in game 4... the heat's role players vastly outplayed okc's in that series. i doubt cleveland's role players will outplay golden state's.Comment -

#8The Warriors will win. Homecourt might be protected throughout however (although that rarely happens).Comment -

#9so beyond the fact that the heat had a former finals mvp and a multiple all star to complement lbj, they weren't better than this cavs team?

Not to mention Cleveland's role players have to matchup with Golden State's role players which is much different than going up against guys like nick collison, perkins, and the other scrubs okc had to complement their big 3.Comment -

#12I don't necessarily disagree with that but what does it have to do with my post? I know Cleveland has some capable role players but Miami had some too. And they had wade.

#14I took the Warriors to win it all before the playoffs began, but here is why the Cavs definitely have a good chance. Lebron is literally unstoppable. Nobody can guard him, especially nobody on the Warriors. He's going to be double teamed on the drive and will just kick out to an open shooter. Not to mention he's got Bigs who can rebound and the best playoff defense behind him. The Cavs will slow down the game and make the Warriors play in the half court.Comment -

#16Thompson is a monster on the glass but Draymond Green is a much better all around player. Dellavedova has had some nice moments in the playoffs but Livingston is a better player imo. Bogut is much better than Mozgov bar free throw shooting. JR Smith and Iggy are very different players so it's impossible to compare them.
Don't see how any of Cleveland's role players are better than their counterparts.Comment -

#17I don't think people realise how good Golden State is or how easy Cleveland had it in the East. I guess we'll see what happens.Comment -

#18The Warriors will force James to take jumpshots. The entire playoffs his shot has been off. His 3 point % is laughable. He's capable of the occasional hot streak but Kerr will live with that if it happens.
This time off gives Kerr a week to gameplan. I guarantee his focus will be to force James to shoot jumpers. The difference here is that LeBron can't simply outmuscle Green in the post like he has to Carroll and Butler. Even when he's able to drive by Green, he has to deal with a 7 footer at the rim and longer more athletic defenders who can disrupt James' passing lanes.Comment -

#19How many teams get knocked out in the first 2 rounds 2 years in a row and win it all the next year? GS not ready for the physicality the Cavs will bring. I see them splitting the first 4 games and then collapsing under the pressure and losing in 6. Plus, Cleveland has the real MVP who has willed teams to win and will do it again this series. Which teams have Curry and Thompson led to a championship?
With that said, I'm still waiting for GS to take game 1 before laying any series bets on the Cavs. Should be able to get better than +200 before game 2.Comment -

#25Of course, but as of now I think that if the Cavs win, it could ONLY be in 6 games. I highly doubt they win two games in Oakland so that eliminates Cavs in 4 or 5 and I also doubt the win in Oakland would come in a Game 7.Comment -
