That's terrible mathematically in both winning probability and value.
With last year, the Patriots were 10 to 1 odds to win the super bowl during the off season.
Why take two teams to win their championships at 9 to 1 odds when I can take one team to win their championship at 10 to 1 odds.

Betting futures is best during the off season for maximum value, last years off season the Patriots 10 to 1 for the NFL, last years off season the Giants 29 to 1 odds for MLB.
