Why? Because why should anyone want to increase their exposure by over 50% for 1 game if you truly like them for the series.

Using your flawed methodology, let's say I want to win $1000 on the series. At -210, I have to risk $2100 to make the 1k. If I bet them instead on game 1 +2 at 1100/1000 instead, and they lose, and lets say for arguments sake your series price of pk is the new series line, I have to risk another $2100 to make my original target of 1k profit to make up for the $1100 I lost, and now, I'm looking at risking $3200 to make that $1000 instead of $2100. There's always the chance they lose by 1 or 2, and I can increase equity, but that's a slim chance which is not worth the added exposure risk which I'd be better off getting direct odds for the Hawks to win by 1-3.
