your not right. It is celebrated in parts of mexico just not with the zest it is in u.s.a. It is the battle of pueblo which the mexican army beat france and napolean. As My grandmother was a full blooded mexican (family came over on the sante teresa land grant) ; I will thank you bear for the congratulatory words.
