Gotta have Cavs or Bulls on the other side then. Clippers, Grizzlies, Warriors, and Rockets are all good teams but very few have seen GS play an important game in June who is under 40. That would be a shock to the system.

Yep! The first NBA Finals I can ever remember glancing at was in 1975 Bullets-Warriors. I was 6 years old.

I'm praying for history to continue to repeat itself now. Rockets brought back memories of the 1995 semifinal comeback against the Suns when they won yesterday. Now I'm praying for a repeat of the Rockets in the 1986 Western Conference Finals. Lakers regular season record was 11 games better than us. Lakers swept us 4-0 during the season. We had lost our starting point guard, John Lucas, before the playoffs started. Is this starting to sound familiar?

Congrats on Rocks Klc! Comparing this squad to Rudys mid 90's squad a bit ludicrous though. The dream would have owned superdope and that Rocks team was loaded with guards as well. That team probably beats this squad in 5 tops. Not being a "hater" just reality I'm still not sold and this team has some major flaws. Let's be real half the teams that didn't make the postseason probably could have beat Dallas. And I cannot forget how horrific Rocks looked in half the last series they squeezed thru mainly because Clips returned favor by looking equally as bad choking away the series down stretch. Next round be the real test! Bol

Another similarity with the 1986 team is that they both have head coaches with championship rings from the Celtics. Bill Fitch as a coach in 1981, and Kevin McHale as a player. Too many coincidences. Rockets win the series.

Sometimes you just have to believe in fate. Too many coincidences here. High risk, but high reward for anyone that has the guts to know a sign when you see it. I've bet 4 different guys $100 to their $175 each that the Rockets will take the series.
