Entry Fee is only 5 Betpoints.

Now that the NHL regular season is nearing its end, we have almost arrived at one of the most exciting times of the entire year, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which also means that it is time for the 2015 NHL Playoff 5K Challenge with 5,000 Betpoints worth of SBR Sportsbook Free Plays up for grabs to the top 10 finishers! This contest begins with the first playoff games on Wednesday, April 15th and ends on the final game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in June. Note: If there is a tie in units, the tiebreaker will be Action Points, which is now many points you beat the spread by (Totals and Puck Lines only). If still tied after Action Points, the prizes will be split.

just a note/suggestion that "action points" can just as easily be applied to ML plays by simply treating it for what it is...a handicap (or puckline) of 0 goals

clearly picking a money line and having your selected team win by 3 goals is more impressive than winning by just the minimum possible 1 goal...in exactly the same way that picking an over5.5goals in a game that scores 9 goals is more impressive than in a game that wins the bet with the minimum required 6 goals

so fairness and consistency in the tie-breaking mechanism may be maintained throughout all the bets made in the contest

it should be dead-simple to incorporate this consistent approach into the contest-ware simply by treating all ML bets as +0 puckline bets and comparing winning/losing margins to zero (instead of the usual +1.5/-1.5)

Problem is Action Points are applied automatically by the system so applying them to Money Lines would take work on the technical end that would require some downtime for maintenance. Does not seem worth it for a tiebreaker.
