What's the most you've ever lost chasing in one night

Nothing worse than having to tell your wife that you lost the car payment, and electric bill in one night. That was 23 years ago, and I have never put myself in that position again. She still tells me to this day that if I lose money like that, I'm automatically single.

I've never lost essential monies or anything close to doughs loss but 1100 still hurts...

There has to be more on here that have lost crucial and substantial amounts of money. Come on, I need to hear the horror stories.

ran up my full tilt poker account to 37k in 12 hours from a $600 deposit playing PLO. started at 1/2, was playing 25/50 a few hours after.

got some sleep, fired up some PLO and proceeded to lose seemingly every single hand playing 3/6 PLO with my new bankroll, along with my new idea to try something called bankroll management. i was well funded for the swings at 3/6, but after losing a dozen buyins while four-tabling in an hour....10/20 4 tabling was next. couldnt win a fukkin hand. down to my last 20k, i decide to play the high stakes regs at the time, like fullflush, boosted j, and a few other names that i used to rail at the time because these games were way out of my reach. lets just say that it didnt take too long to lose it all while these fukks were hitting two and three outers every hand. PLO is a very disturbing game, and i am still addicted to this day.

best advice i can give is you are having a bad day just change your plans and do something that will take your mind of sports.

I tilted 16 k away one night. Helping a desperate friend with a stake in 1/2 nolimit holdem outta town and its because the goof tilts the penetrate outta me. I ended up punting it all everywhere like a fire sale.
