Baseball players get hit in the face and play through it sometimes. Same for basketball players actually.

Hockey isn't a finesse sport. Try shooting a basketball or pitching a baseball with something wrong with your finger. Doesn't work. The tiniest variance in your release is the difference between a strikeout and a home run. Game of fractional distances.

scoring in hockey is massive problem.....
utterly pointless to watch these guys messing about with 35 shots on goal...scoring 1 goal.
it's freakin impossible to score when you have goalies filling up the net like jabba the hutt.....their pads are just ridiculous.

the only hockey that is watchable is when they play over time hockey 4v4.
the ice is totally clogged up when they play 5 on 5.

don't expect nhl to get it right...if you have as many nhl teams in florida as you have in ontario....you know the guys running the show is a bit retarded.

I mean, the whole concept of the sport is flawed. Can't score so they make people go off the ice sometimes over BS to get goal totals up. Watching the hockey games today waiting for the baseball game and almost all the goals i've seen have been PP goals. Almost impossible as all hell to score a normal 5 on 5 goal.
