Chance of winning using ESPN BPI
Using the ESPN Basketball Power Index (BPI) posted numbers, how are the percentage chances for one team to beat another computed in an upcoming game?

For example, Kentucky is given a 92% chance to beat West Virginia. How is that derived using Kentucky's BPI rating of 95.0 and West Virginia's 79.9 BPI?

Thanks for any help or speculations.

I would assume its all some variation of Log5.

Someone on here must be good enough with math to explain Log5
