College basketball totals are the hardest thing to cap. Their is a reason why you see some many low first quarter half and the game still goes over. Over vice versa, high first quarter and the game still go under.

Most teams will either zone all game or a variation of both. This is why we see a common huge disparity in scoring halves. You just don't see that in the NBA.
