So let's talk Iona -8.5 @ Marist

By all accounts this should be an easy cover for Iona, except for Isaiah Williams being out with his foot injury. However, I still think the books have over-adjusted to his being out. Let's call a spade a spade: Marist sucks. They are 2-7 at home (and 0-5 ATS as a home dog, if you're into that sort of thing). Iona is 9-6 on the road, and I believe 7-2 ATS as a road favorite. They looked ugly the first couple of games adjusting to Williams' absence, but now seem to have things figured out. I hate laying points on the road in college basketball, but it looks like the only bettable game to me. Thoughts? If I had to guess, 80 - 67 Iona.

I am playing Iona at -9. I know the line has dropped to -8.5. Not sure how Marist stays in this game, but these types of games have came back to bite me in the asss more than once.

Well, I went to Rider which is in the MAAC and still watch most of the MAAC games to date (mostly Rider and Iona). Iona routed Marist at home in the first go around and with Iona only up by 2 games ahead of Rider in the MAAC, Iona needs to win out a tough final stretch of the season. So I expect nothing short of a blow out once again. Iona has 3 guys that can go off for 40 points on any night, dead locked on Iona to cover.

Just a word of caution... Marist does have an ugly record, but they played a good chunk of the season shorthanded; key players missed considerable time... They been healthy their past nine games or so, and have actually been pretty competitive since then.

Their season-long stats and trends should be taken with a grain of salt IMO.

A shitty team is still a shitty team. Iona takes mercy on no one, and they're sure as hell not going to look like chumps on an ESPN broadcasted game.

who also turned the ball over a lot and shot 39% .
I am only taking the women 5pm with Wisc-GB ml and i did tease up the men
