This a discussion thread, I'm laying off, slight lean towards Warriors.
Personally I am tired of hearing about the Splash Brothers, but there has to be a reason why they are a two point favorite on the road against a Hawk team that is 24-3 at home in their building.
Probably because GSW has the best road record in the game at 16 and 6.
But, that's a long flight GSW made yesterday from San Fransisco to Atlanta.
That has to take something out of you.
Golden State I think is a little better defensive team, yes they give up 100 points a game (99.8) however, GSW has the best defensive effienency rating in the NBA. Altanta only gives up 96.5, but GSW plays those high octane teams in the West, where as Atlanta plays weak ass East teams.
Offense, both teams shoot 3 balls like mad, Korver and the two splash boys are in the 3 point shoot out next week.
GSW leads the universe in team scoring at 111 per game.
Atlanta averages 103.5
Both centers are rock solid on defense.
Horford and Bogut are forces in the middle.
Atlanta's flaw on defense is against the forwards.
But Green and Barnes are not really game changers.
Draymon can fill it up on occasion though.
Hate to sound like Captain Obvious here, but the difference is the guards.
Korver is the better on defense than Klay, but not that big of a difference.
Korver can shoot 3's, but so can Thompson.
Curry is the superior point guard in this match up.
Teague is having a career year, but no comparison.
On both ends of the floor Curry owns this match up.
So called 'sharps' love GSW tonight, me I kind of like the Warriors too.
I may play the under 214.5
