            The winner of the 1st race, Seattle Slew, sat well off the pace and closed determinately to eek out a win after Wacker Packer took a mis-step in deep stretch.

            The winner of the 2nd race, Patriot Power, broke from the gate extremely well, opened up a clear lead, and was never threatened in what can only be described as a romp.

            These two champions meet in two weeks for the grade 1 Superbowl Derby. I would expect that Patriot Power will once again be the controlling speed, and if trainer Belichick can keep his charge sharp another wire to wire open length win is a distinct possibility.
