: since trading Percy harvin to the jets who was a internal cancer inside the lockeroom and after the loss at Kansas city Pete Carrol had a closed door meeting with 12 veteran pivitol players after that meeting we haven't lost since and btw our record ATS is 6-0-1 . The meeting was about the teams lack of playing for each other every Sunday and if they truelly wanted to get back to the big game then they would need to find it... They have and AFTER THIS SUNDAYS GAME SEATTLE WILL BE 7-0-1 against the spread how can you bet against those #'s

Referee for NFC Championship game: Tony Corrente

The referee for Sunday’s Seattle-Green Bay NFC Championship game is Tony Corrente, according to FootballZebras.com.

As FootballZebras notes, this is Corrente’s fifth conference championship game. And yes, he is the same Tony Corrente who resigned earlier this year as coordinator of football officiating for the Pac-12 Conference.

Corrente has not done a recent Seahawks’ playoff game.

He was the referee for one Seattle game this season, the 19-3 win at San Francisco in which the Seahawks had 14 penalties to jus three for the 49ers (here’s his Pro Football Reference page).

It was after that game that Seattle coach Pete Carroll said “I just wish they called some on the other guys.”

However, it’s worth noting that this won’t be the exact same crew as that game since the NFL is dividing up the officials and creating new crews for the playoffs (explained here).

Corrente’s crew was known for being fairly flag-happy during the season, ranking fourth in penalties called per game through week 15, according to ESPN.

Seattle was called for six penalties Saturday against Carolina for 60 yards while the Panthers had five for 35.
