Golden State is #1 right now and its not close don't care about records, but they won't get it done in the playoffs rely too much on jumpshooting..

Lol.. Some people need to hop off the Pistons train. They're playing good ball not top5 ball.. Name one of those teams the Pistons would beat in a best of 7

Title says current top 5 teams sir.
The current winning streak and beating Spurs and Mavs on back to back nights at their arenas should put them in anybodies top 5

Lol current top 5 teams as in the best 5 teams right now. You're really going to put the Pistons into that list? Maybe the current top 5 hottest teams..

Battling injuries all year. Playoff time give me the Spurs -110 in a best of 7 against anyone and I'll take it.

You have to consider Detroit on this list, if they beat Atlanta Friday. That would be 3 straight wins against teams with a combined record of 74-34, two on the road. Different team now than in the first 28 games, by subtracting Smith, and adding Meeks. Van Gundy has done a great job, and it took a lot of balls to do what he did to Josh Smith.

yeah spurs should not be on that list
having a championship hangover, either that or they are tired. every year we expect the spurs' age to catch up to them and they keep getting it done. but nothing beats father time, maybe this is the year, fitting after a successful season
Considering making a big bet on Mavs gives +1400 at william hill

Who do you see coming out of the west then? Dallas is a possibility, maybe OKC if they get their head out of their ass. I don''t see any other team with a chance.

I don't know about those eastern team but teams like Spurs, Dallas, OKC, Warriors are all gonna be very very tough when healthy esp during playoff.
Cleveland still has Lebron so Finals is a possibility for them against any of the western team.
