I was around 19 working for a major sports league here in the US (not baseball). everyone in the office gambled on baseball over the summer. I posted up like $100 with a 100% match at Betus.com and started firing away $5-$10 parlays on 5 game baseball parlays.

Within my first week I hit a long shot for $1000+ and I was hooked.

Spent the rest of the summer loosing it.. but it was fun and only cost me $100.

Once the summer was over I headed back to College and was all ready for FOOTBALL

Never hit one!!!. HAHAHAHAHA.. then slowly started realizing single wagers and 2-3 leg parlays were a lot more profitable.

When I was 18 6 years ago I began to bet after high school. I played HS football and had offers to go to local schools until I had an injury in the off season. I knew alot about college football back then (2008) and my first deposit was for $50 at sportsbook.com. I remember first thing I looked for were college football lines. I can still remember some of the games I bet a $25 parlay to win $360 ish 5 teamer but I bought points on each bet. Arkansas +21 v Florida Oklahoma v Texas cotton bowl (line was -3 OK bought .5 to -2.5) South Carolina +16.5 v Alabama and 2 others that I forget but all these 5 games hit my FIRST EVER BET EVER a penetrating 5 team ncaafb parlay and the bitch hit. I wish I would have lost the parlay because after that I was hooked.

Started with dad bringing home parlay cards during fb, maybe 10yrs old. He would let me play 2cards for $5 each. Never hit the 8-10 team parlays I played. Although I wasn't a square (thinking back), I was a losing bettor, and still am. Thanks pops!

My Dad let me pick football pools ($1)when I was about 10. First time I ever played I got the 9 out of 10 consolation prize, maybe 50 bucks. I never saw a dime but he was so thrilled that he always gave me a slip to fill out every week. He always told me to pick 10 teams, college was easy back then. Never hit again but had fun with Pop talking about sports.
