The whole team is hurt! As I said in the other thread, the Charters are on their 5th center, Rivers is banged up, and that's just the tip of iceberg. Also their starting left tackle just got hurt a few plays ago

and Chiefs are always tough are Arrowhead stadium...and truth be told, not that much of a drop off at QB (if any) between Alex Smith and Chase Daniel.

Man so far, and it is early, he looks better than Smith.

Down 9 with no healthy players and a center from the rec league. It's getting late early

I agree Paco....I never understood all the love Rivers gets for a guy that chokes like him...I also said way back when that San Diego would rue the day they got rid of Darren Sproles!......what a blunder that was!...

Try to bet that game retroactively to see if it will cash. As for today. I'm watching, I'm on the chargers and I don't see how they will score another point on offense even if its 16 quarters.

Mike McCoy, nice decision. 52-yard FG try down 12 points.

Do they get to bring the points against the niners to arrowhead? Otherwise, last weeks comeback is a non factor today. You learn something new everyday Stax. This is not last year or even last week. Every bet is a new game you have to win. Don't rest on your laurels.

All I ever said was it was early in the game... not sure if you're trying to start a fight, trying to look smart, or just a plain old prick. maybe all 3?

I have nothing against you Stax. We just differed on what we considered "early" in the game. Chargers didn't look good at ANY point in the game, it gets late early when that happens no matter how much time is left on the clock.

I said it was early with 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, SD was down 13-7 with the ball. I dont care how a team has looked, thats early in the game...

it was a strange game. Chargers had numerous opportunities to cover this spread but that offensive line failed them badly. Then the called-back touchdown which was really questionable.
Not sure what the large money backers on the chiefs saw in this team, but they won. Chiefs were coasting for two and a half quarters on offense.

Agree... Chief's won because they have a pretty darn good defense. Chargers couldn't cash in on their chances and Chiefs did enough to win

I would say primarily the defensive line did. When Rivers wasn't shitting his pants, he was hurting the lbs and secondary.
It was a game decided in the trenches, and it's hard to cap that. Chargers o line wasn't that bad against a decent 49ers front. And the Chiefs are hit and miss when it comes to pressure up front.
Strange results in this one.

Um, the Chargers were obviously so injured it's unreal. Would take forever to name all the injuries but this was an easy winner for me

Not sure where you think it was easy. Maybe after that td was nullified, but if it stood up (which it should've, he had possession) then it was a 5 point game and they were moving the ball afterwards.
The final score is deceiving, wasn't as dominating as it looks.
