Help me understand this losing thing
The thing where people will bet to lose, or feel good when they lose, or whatever that shit is. What the eff is that all about? Are any of you sick bastards really like this?

Haha I just saw the end of that movie which SPOILER ALERT has to do with him losing everything on a bet against his home life or some shit like that. It's just foreign to me as someone who gambles every day. I would rather wake up to my tires slashed than a losing bet

Smoke I've seen you say this before and I don't know what to say. Maybe your money management is impeccable. But that's not really what I'm talking about. I just don't get the whole "losing is a huge rush" thing, and it's just shocking to me that it's prevalent enough to be one of the biggest indicators of a problem bettor.

My money management is fine these days which is why a loss doesnt bother me like say 4 years ago

There were times where i kept winning and couldnt lose and i actually wanted to lose a bet for a change just to feel a loss..

You may not understand it yet but one day you will

too many gamblers are sick ... they feel they are worthless and deserve to lose ... losing is an affirmation

they are comfortable at the bottom , they feel at home there

same as an ex-con committing a crime to go back 'inside'

I've never heard of this sickness. That sounds like a psychopath.

Yeah I guess that's it, what Sammy said. I just don't get it I guess. Which I would imagine is a good thing

Oh it's out there. Many who post here probably feel it even if they don't admit it. Smoke came clean, I commend him. Though I think he isn't an example of how bad this can get
