How about Baylor? They too played SMU, then they played Northwestern State (not northwestern) and Buffalo. Get the fukk out of here. Both AD's should be fired for such awful schedules.
Now if the Big12 was a juggernaut OOC as a whole then you could give them some due but the Big12 was garbage as a conference this year. OU and Texas being down, killed the conference. The conferences best win was Iowa State beating Iowa or maybe OU beating Tennessee. That is awful. They've lost to Alabama, Auburn, BYU, UCLA, FSU, etc... The entire big12 OOC schedule was full of cupcakes. Schedule better, get better.

football schedules are made 6 to 10 yrs in advance. Tcu was in a shit conference at that time. No one would give them a home and home. Baylor has no excuses but before bitching about there tell me who miss st or ole miss. Also did you notice that auburn played samford also.Comment -
Hope the Tide pushes their mud in but not like Tcu didn't help seal their own fate with choke job at Baylor. That would have been an impressive win and they blew a commanding lead late. Hang on and win there and the politicians would have a tougher sell on OSU. Oh well college sports still a little biased and $$ motivated even with the new system what a shocker lol.
