I doubt it knocks it down enough though. At the beginning of this week, TCU was 31st in SOS, Ohio State was 60th looking at Sagarin. And remember that Big Ten is top-heavy but pretty crappy overall. I am not saying that Big 12 is any great shakes but it still ranks higher.

Ohio State's loss is horrendous in comparison......With such a fine line in picking the 4th spot, this makes a huge difference IMO

It seems you are forcing reasons to knock TCU down. Look, the bottom line is that the top 3 teams did nothing this weekend to deserve to drop. The only team in last week's Top 4 having trouble is FSU, and you know they won't get knocked out if they win. So Ohio State could win 80-0 and it wouldn't matter. Fact that committee had TCU at 3 to begin with gives them the benefit of the doubt. Committee considered SOS when placing TCU and that advantage over Ohio State won't go away. Yes, Ohio State routed the better team TODAY, but TCU already did enough before today.

and as much as it pains me to say because osu lost to a completely pathic 6-6 VT AT HOME I think they belong in the four trumping Baylor and TCU but they need to put much more of an emphasis on SOS
