JB is huge with the tweener set.
I mean I’m not busting down the box office for the next Bieber show or anything like that but I’ve always given him his just due for his vocals. He is an amazing talent.

That is one thing I admire about other countries

Outside of the U.S. you can listen to any type of music you like, dress however you want, speak however you want.

Here in the states if you listen to pop music or anything like i mentioned, you are judged and made fun of.

Take the Killers for example. (My favorite band)
As great as an American (from Las Vegas) band in their early Hot Fuss days that album was received with incredible accolades in Europe then it shot up like a rocket in the states.
They’re a band that’s internationally loved.

Trivia: The Killers are the only band to have performed on all seven continents.

I feel bad for the new talented indie bands.
FM as we knew it is non existent, they don’t spin indie bands like Green Day or Might Mouse, or the Killers anymore, almost all music heard on FM now is classic rock and quite frankly I don’t want to hear “Stairway to Heaven” anymore. God forbid they would even play a deep cut from a classic band.

Like I said all you get now is classic rock, rap/hip hop, or Western.

I read a fun fact in NME a few months back that the only two music genres that turn a profit these days are Western and hip hop.
