    Question - Neteller and more...
Hey guys, im new here and new to betting. Ive always helped my friends out with betting on games and figured it was time to make some money for myself. So after 2 winning weekend this internet gambling bill came about. So I have a few questions.

    1. Are we still ok to bet on games until the bill is actually signed and goes into effect?

    2. If and when the bill is signed, why cant we still use a company like Neteller? If they run their operations outside of the US and handle all kinds of different money transactions, why cant we just use them as a third party to pay?

And what are your suggestion for books to use? I started with sportsbook but have heard alot of bad things so I pulled my money out and was thinking about bodog.

Thanks for your help guys, I also plan on sticking around here so I want to say hello also.

    #1. yes

#2. Because the U.S. goverment will put a block on bank transfers.

you can still use the ** option for depositing anything under $1,000 without drawing any red flags.

I think the worst case is books stop sending money to neteller, if it is identified as a "gambling bank". Even if this happens, players will still be able to get their money.

If Crazy things happen, and neteller disappears, keep your money at "A" books. I have no doubt those books will get me my money come hell or high water.

NETeller is a publicly traded company that has stockholders to consider. It is no longer a private company that can do whatever the owners choose. They have strict laws and banking regulations that they must follow.

However, it is my understanding that the financial institutions have up to 9 months to comply with the laws once they are signed into law. You can believe that NETeller will keep chugging along during those nine months before pulling out of the U.S. market all together.

Nobody knows what is going to happen with Neteller after the bill becomes law. If it goes away something will take its place for sure

Can't you guys (luckily I live in Europe, hehe) just use Moneybookers instead Neteller?

I find Moneybookers the best and cheapest online banking-system!

Maybe if they got rid of their transaction limits.
