    Sia
I'm confused.. I keep on reading pay-out complaints about Sports Inter Action and it being a lousy book; on the other hand in almost every middler-topic SIA is mentioned as one of the two bookies used (Pinnacle often being the other).
So, what's the deal with this book. Should I become a customer and take good advantage of their opinionated lines to make some money, or should I avoid this book because the only reason they have sharp lines is because they're not gonna pay anway.

    SIA has sharp lines !

They have the squarest lines in existance !

Go ahead and play there, but:

    Only deposit via Neteller

    Straight bets only

I've been there for years, they will pay, but CS is sub-par !

My last withdrawal ( a few hundred) was processed within 24 hours, that was about 2 weeks ago.

Noyb....i use them as one of my main two books (pinnacle is the other). They have been great for me. Been playing with them for a while and made several withdrawal and deposits w/o any issues. I highly recommend them. If you are going to middle, scalp, arb or whatever you'll certainly need to have SIA as a main book...all the other "A" books have basically clone lines to Pinnacle.

Trust me they are safe they just have the occasional problems that every other book has (c.f a handful of A books). In my opinion, use Neteller it is the easiest and safest way.

looks like they have a long way to go...I personally won't mess with any book with less than an "A" rating from SBR...

SIA is fine and very solid for smaller type bettors under $300 a game.

SIA is for recreational players only period. so, if your not a sharp you really shouldn't have any problems with them.

I wouldn't want to be the person who had to help players with all their complaints about this book, but I have personally always been paid in a reasonable time (no more than three days, usually within 24 hours of request). I also have only used Neteller with them (and Paypay way back when). There are certainly horror stories, but in general, they usually work out ok, which can not be said of many books. They also don't deal dual lines which is so common now.

My biggest problem with SIA happened a few years ago on NHL play-offs. I had some big dog ( like +450) to win a series in one of the early rounds. They won. SIA didn't want to pay until the entire play-offs were completed ( over a month).

I got some help ( Sherwood, I think it was), and they paid after a delay of a few days. I wasn't even trying to withdraw it, just get it graded !

They've done a few questionable things in the past to others with tennis. I don't even bet bases there, they have no listed pitchers, I believe.

                        I bet mainly NFL there.

Stay away from futures, props, etc. Just straight bets, and you should be OK.

Doug, that's BS, they should pay immediately after the team won the series...what a bunch of crap...

SBR Bill Dozer reports SportsInteraction: reaches its highest all-time SBR rating: C. SIA management has worked closely with SBR in recent months in an effort to tighten procedure and avoid disputes by implementing additional rules. Players report having direct access to management and experiencing an improvement in customer service. While it is clear that SIA has made positive adjustments players should remember that SIA is known for its poor customer service and admits that they still have much to improve upon. SBR encourages players to send feedback to BillDozer@SportsbookReview.com.
